FAQs
What is an Exercise Physiologist?
Exercise as medicine!
An exercise physiologist is an allied health professional who uses exercise to help you achieve your goals and improve your health. Our exercise physiologists will complete an assessment and provide physical activity recommendations based on your goals, medical history and current level of function or fitness.
We’ll then help you put our exercise recommendations in place by designing an exercise program and teaching you (or your support people) to complete it safely and effectively.
At Active Ability, we are passionate about improving the health, wellbeing and day to day function for our clients. Our mission is to support people with disability to achieve optimal independence, health and quality of life.

In Sydney we see people in South West Sydney, Hawkesbury, Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, Campbelltown, the Northern Beaches, North Shore as well as the Sutherland Shire, Parramatta City, Ryde City, Blacktown City and The Hills Shire.
