Course Description
‘Working effectively in the NDIS: Mental Health’ was designed by our co-directors who have 20+ years combined experience working in the disability sector. Active Ability has successfully supported over 2,000 NDIS clients, and this NDIS mental health course has been designed to share that experience with you.
The “Working Effectively in the NDIS: Mental Health” course goes beyond basic familiarisation with the topic. It looks deeper into specific areas, focusing on equipping healthcare professionals working with NDIS participants with a primary disability or a mental illness, wanting improved independence, community participation and/or economic participation.
Who is this course for?
Any allied health professional, including exercise physiologists, physiotherapists and dietitians, who want to work effectively in the mental health and NDIS space to support their participants in achieving their NDIS goals.
