For those who require continued face-to-face consultations, and as part of our commitment to infection control, each and every member (our admin team included) of the Active Ability team has completed the Australian Government’s COVID-19 infection control training module.

Yesterday the Minister for Health, Greg Hunt, released a statement related to the plan for expansion of TeleHealth services in response to COVID-19. Active Ability is already providing TeleHealth as well as our mobile services – great news!

In this media release he said “We recognise telehealth is not appropriate for the management of all health care problems and in many cases face-to-face consultations will still be needed. It is imperative Australians continue to receive the high quality medical care and advice they expect and deserve from their health care providers. We cannot risk a reduction in the standard of medical care provided to the people of Australia.”

Ask your clinician for a copy of their certificate if you’d like evidence of completion!
