Active Ability is pleased to present ‘Working effectively in the NDIS: Report Writing. This course has been designed by our co-directors who have 20 + years combined experience working in the disability sector. Active Ability has successfully supported over 2,000 NDIS clients, with over 80 NDIS reports written and submitted every month of the year, and this course has been designed to share that experience with you.
This course includes the following modules:
MODULE 1: INTRO TO REPORT WRITING
An overview of the fundamentals of the NDIS and how they apply to report writing: the ICF framework, capacity building supports, reasonable and necessary criteria. We also discuss the practicalities: who reads the report and what are they looking for?
MODULE 2: A THOROUGH REVIEW OF THE 4 CORE COMPONENTS OF AN NDIS REPORT
Key information regarding an introduction to your client, their goals, their progress in current plan and your recommendations for future funding. Within each core component you will be provided with quality examples and time to review past reports against these examples.
MODULE 3: A CONCLUSION TO NDIS REPORT WRITING
Explore and discuss FAQs including billing, funding break down, non-face-to-face services, trouble shooting and making sure that you leave the course with your own template and renewed understanding on NDIS expectations.
