Farran Gordon - ACCREDITED PRACTISING DIETITIAN

Hi there! My name is Farran and I am very excited to be joining the Active Ability team as a dietitian.

I am providing Active Ability’s mobile dietetic services in the Eastern Suburbs and Sutherland Shire.

Get to know me

I am adventurous, and am always up for trying new things, whether it be hiking, abseiling, canyoning or jet skiing. I love to travel, try new foods and visit new places. My favourite place that I have traveled to would definitely be New York. I love the vibe and the atmosphere but most of all, how New York is filled with people from all walks of life, living together.

I am an avid baker and you can often find me in the kitchen creating delicious treats (yes, dietitians eat baked goods too!).

Food is something that we all have in common; it’s something that we all talk about daily, whether it be as simple as “What’s for dinner?” or the act of bringing friends and family together over a meal. Food can enhance our lives, improve our health and allow us to feel like the best versions of ourselves. This is why I am so passionate about showing people the positive effect that one’s diet can have on their quality of life.

I have worked in the disability sector for the last 7 years and love being able to enable my clients to make their own healthy choices and create their own healthy and tasty meals. I have seen first-hand the incredibly positive impact food can have, not just on physical health, but also improving an individual’s mental state of mind and outlook on life.

I am looking forward to being part of the Active Ability team and working together with you to help you meet all of your goals. I am currently working for Active Ability three (3) days per week so if you are wanting support from a Dietitian, please make contact with our team to arrange an appointment!
