Hi I’m Jillian Cooper, I’m new to Active Ability and will be providing exercise physiology services from April 2021.
Originally from Shellharbour, I’m really looking forward to providing NDIS participants in my local area with exercise physiology support!
In my free time I love to hang out at the beach or the river with my friends and family. I’m so lucky to live somewhere with so many beautiful beaches and great swimming spots! I also enjoy camping and relaxing with a good book. My love for being outdoors and being active started when I was a kid and my parents had me in surf club and swimming from a young age.
My passion for exercise physiology stems from a desire to help as many people as possible achieve independence and freedom through exercise!
My aim is to help my clients feel empowered through a variety of different exercises and support them to achieve both their personal and NDIS goals. I provide mobile exercise physiology services with Active Ability throughout the Illawarra in New South Wales. My area of service will span from Wollongong to Nowra.”
Through the National Disability Insurance Scheme, exercise physiology is a Capacity Building Support that can be funded through either ‘Improved Health and Wellbeing’ or ‘Improved Daily Living Skills’. Active Ability don’t charge for travel, don’t have a waiting list and are not charging the 10% Covid-19 loading.
